Sometimes you have to cast for 2 years to get a strike from a lake run Steelhead !It was worth the wait and the Fish Gods were on my side!!

I was recently on tour in Washington and had great luck on Cuthroat !! They take a variety of patterns but an olive muddler is best with red flash on the side.

My friends Julie and Chris hit up the salt on Bainbridge Island on Superbowl Sunday. We had lots of action on small coho and blackmouth on squid flies!!!

Flounder on the Fly

This was a great surprise. While casting for cutthroat I hooked what I thought was a heavy fish. A strange fight turned out to be a flounder . Just as I landed it a classroom of kids came by and we took this photo!!!

More fall coho

They have been really biting! The great lakes are in good shape this fall!!

I was recently put fishing with my friend Brent Wilcox and landed and the coho fishing was great, This was the best one!!!!Brent also landed a beautiful steelhead!!
