Flounder on the Fly

This was a great surprise. While casting for cutthroat I hooked what I thought was a heavy fish. A strange fight turned out to be a flounder . Just as I landed it a classroom of kids came by and we took this photo!!!

They have been really biting! The great lakes are in good shape this fall!!

Northern,Mi coho slam

I was recently put fishing with my friend Brent Wilcox and landed and the coho fishing was great, This was the best one!!!!Brent also landed a beautiful steelhead!!

Colorado bill and huge pere Marquette salmon

My Friend Colorado Bill recently caught this huge salmon which was released on the pere Marquette fly section. Bill is the the person who really helped me with me land bigger fish , We met April 18th at the fisherman's landing access and have become good friends !!!

Lahontan cutthroat

Eastern, Wa. Has beautiful Lake Lenore where you can catch these beautiful cutthroat , On a cold Nov morning this year and after many trips to the fly shop I finally landed this fish On a small fry pattern!!

Saltwater King

I was recently with my guide friend Stephen burns on the Olympic peninsula fishing for cutthroat when this king surprised us , After a 15 minute tug of war I was able to bring this beauty to hand and a quick release!!
